After i install and restart my computer i cant use internet. Can someone fix this error? Thanks!(i have windows 8)

I'm not sure what you mean by install.

Is this connectivity problem both with wireless and Ethernet or just one or the other ?

Other than network adapter drivers and antivirus programs, DNS servers can impact connectivity.

I use Level3's DNS servers instead of my ISPs which are 209.244.0.3 and 209.244.0.4

You can try this to see if it makes any difference by going Start - type ncpa.cpl and press enter - right click on whichever adapter you are using and select Properties.

Uncheck the box for (TCP/IPv6) as that can cause connectivity issues then click on (TCP/IPv4) and select Properties.

Check the lower button for Use the following DNS servers and in the top row of boxes type 209.244.0.3

Tab down to the lower row and type 209.244.0.4

Check the box to Validate settings upon exit - OK - Close and that will invoke the troubleshooter which should come back as no problems found and then reboot to see if you have the same problem.

If using wireless and you have a yellow alert on its taskbar icon, right click on it and select Troubleshoot problems to see what it reports.

I use wireless but for me it does not appear yellow but rather red and it only happened after using tweaker advanced and restarting the computer and when I try to solve the problem it appears that there is no

Can you right click on the wireless icon and select Troubleshoot to see what it reports.

Was this with the wireless symbol in red ?

If the machine is now connecting then it will come back with that message.

Can you go start - type eventvwr and press enter when it comes up.

When Event Viewer has read the data, click on Error then on View All Instances of This Event in the lower right pane then look for any time stamped adapter or DHCP errors - click on them where more info will appear in the pane below.

Can you go Start - type devmgmt.msc and press enter when it comes up.

In Device Manager click on View/Show hidden devices and expand Network adapters - right click on the wireless one and select Properties.

What does it report for its status ?

Right click on the wireless one and select Properties where it should give its status.

While you are in Device Manager look for any yellow alerts, red crosses or black downward pointing arrows.

No, I can't - the pane disappears when I try.

When you right click on the wireless adapter a small pane should open with Properties listed at the bottom of it.

As you seem to be having problems with this, just restart the machine two or three times to see if you regain connectivity.

What exactly changes after 2-3 restarts? Seems odd that that would help.

If the drivers aren't loading properly then a restart or more can help.

If that doesn't resolve then right click on the wireless adapter and select Uninstall - but do not check the box to include software.

You can then either click on Action/Scan for hardware changes or close Device Manager and reboot where the driver will auto reinstall.
