I ran your sfc /scannow and gets to 21% and quits says it found corrupt files and  unable to fix some of them.I have ran your windows repair 3 times.Now what I don't know what to do,Thanks for any help......Scott

Which version of Windows are you using as there could be other tools you could use, but perform a chkdsk /r to check if it reports any KBs in bad sectors.

You can view its log in Event Viewer by going Start - type eventvwr and press enter when it comes up.

When it has read the data, expand Windows Logs - click on Application - Action/Find and type chkdsk or wininit into the Find box and press enter.

Cancel the Find box and read the log in the scrollable window below.

You can post its log if you want by then clicking on Copy/Copy details as text in the lower right pane then right click in the reply box and select Paste.

If it does report bad sectors then you will need to create a full system image onto external media ASAP before the HDD finally fails.

I ran your chkdsk scan it took 2 hours to run but no errors.I also ran supportAssit found no errors.Found nothing when I scan Event view (chkdsk or wininit) Also I'am using windows 10 Pro on an Alienware Area-51 i7 960 3.2GHz 12GB RAM  GeForceGTX 770 I did run and sfc /scannow  same 21% and quit.Again thanks for the help...Scott

Normally when a sfc /scannow quits it's usually a sign of HDD failure.

Can you download the trial version of HDSentinel to see what it reports.

Download the Trial v5.30 (ZIP) and uninstall it when done which will stop the clock on the 30 day trial and then you can use it again as and when.

If that comes back clean then I would suggest first these cmds -

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

and follow that with another sfc /scannow to see if it still fails.

The next step would be to perform a repair install which doesn't affect your personal stuff or installed programs.

For this you will need Win 10 install media which you can create after reading the instructions at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

When you've done that, open Windows Explorer - This PC - insert the install media and double click on its drive.

This will start the process when using a DVD but will open to the files when using an USB where you would then double click on setup Application.

Sorry guy I have try every thing I can come up with but this is not going to repair for nothing.I ran Media creation Tool and it says it can not run because it does not speak the language on my computer !!!! I have try to re-set it will not do that.I guess to format my hard drive and put it back in .Any ideas I also must say it is flying airplanes real well right.So any ideas or let it ride for a while...

As you are in the USA I'm not sure why you are getting that when trying to use the MCT - I assume you are using US/English ?

Google for how do I create a win 10 iso then click on the Microsoft link which should give you a page like I get in the UK - it may be regional.

Did you run HDSentinel to see what it reported for your HDD ?

Is your clock showing the correct date and time ?

Run another sfc /scannow and regardless of what it does, download and run SFCFix.exe and post its report.

the HD Sentinael said my "C" drive was ok  I ran MediaCreation  it said this the language or edition of the version of windows currently installed on your pc isn't supported by this tool.Ran and sfc /scannow and it said windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation.ran SFC Fix it ran ok  Just ran an SFC Fix it ran said it was successfuly but no report on desk top can not find it  ??

That's going to take a while to download but try the MCT again but uncheck the box for Use the recommended options for this PC to see if it will download then.

the another says create installtion meda (USB or or ISO file (which I choose ISO file ) for anther PC I put it in documents  ??

It automatically puts it in the Docs folder - I've never known why as it's a download, but it sounds like you are getting there.

If you have created the install DVD and done a repair install as I've described, then check to see that a sfc /scannow will complete.

A repair install supersedes the Windows Repair program so there'll be no need to run that.

ran sfc /scanow came none found!!!! It is running really good,I have CCleaner I ran registry issue scan many came back as missing shared DLL'also activeX/COM Issue  InProcServer32\c:windowsWOW64 and Invainld Firewall I have not clean it so far just looking let know thanks Scott

On the rare occasion I use CCleaner's registry clean, I have the ActiveX box unchecked and it usually finds invalid firewall.

As for the missing shared DLLs, I normally get those after a factory reset and as they are classed as missing, then I will clean those.

Anyway, glad the machine is running fine and a sfc /scannow works after the repair install.
