Everytime I run repair the "default applications" are reset and I have to go into setting and change them back to the default applications I use on my computer.  My question is - what repair setting can I change to prevent the default applications from being reset?
Thanks

I'm running Windows 10 (most recent build)

Uncheck the reset registery permissions one. It's a MS issue that they haven't fixed yet.

reset registry permissions setting did not prevent the apps from returning to the defaults.   It has to be something else.....

Any other help with the issue of apps defaulting back to their original setting?

This seems to be such an easy setting to identify but it has been impossible to find what causes the default apps to be reset.  Does anyone have any idea what setting is causing default apps to be reset?
