Got this error when trying to install office 2010 on win7 64bit. Ran computer repair & selected to repair windows installer but it did not repair the problem. I then selected to fix all rebooted and it still did not fix the problem..But I still love this program.
I download windows installer from microsoft and it was unable to install got a message that the computer did not have enought disk space to run the command. I decided to restore the computer for my client and that took care of the problem.
Just wanted to give a heads up, i dont think it this beautiful tool, it was the computer because my client really did some crazy things to it before calling me.
