This discussion may interest you http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2655278/what-can-cause-windows-to-unhook-a-low-level-global-keyboard-hook but I didn't have a LowLevelHooks Timeout in my Win 7 registry at that location.

I use Super-Tools (All options In One) :cheesy:
No need to modify the registry, without entering commands and other complicated things.
Just a simple change, or a click and you're done!

I changed to 500 ms, but I do not know what a good value for me.

5000 seems to be the default value.
