Local area connection does not have a valid ip configuration
« on: March 31, 2016, 02:16:59 pm »
One of the computers in the office suddenly developed the above problem. The computer network it attached itself to is "unknown network". It then proceeds to attach itself to a wireless network (our own). What has caused this sudden misbehavior?

Thanks

Hi, change the dns  server settings in the adapter to google dns. 8888 and the alternate server to 8844. Just click on the adapter settings, by going to network connection , and then double click, or right click and select properties. In the ipv4 settings. leave the upper entry as it is and in the down, select use the following dns and apply. 8888 means 8.8.8.8 and lilkewise for altenatve server. click to check the box below to confirm the change. It will troubleshoot and you will find that trouble shoot could not find problem message. Then see the adaper, unknown vanishes and you are connected with internet access, could be seen from tray icon
The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".
