Ok KB3035583 failed with 8007371B (again) and KB3065987 failed with 80004005 (again). So here we are, square one.

I'm now trying to manually install updates, starting with KB3065987. Update: It didn't work. AARGH

OOO found something. I was having issues with windows update files (the prescan told me) and shane himself provided replacement files. The files are for KB3035583, one of the updates that aren't working. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Well the update they mentioned in there is one of the ones failing :p. Well I suppose it's almost useless to have, considering I don't need to restrict guest accoints from anything, as there is no one else using it. Still, I just want to update, for no reason whatsoever.

Well even though I scanned with avast this week, using Advanced System Care from Iobit said I had A trojan :/ I am now doing a check with Malware Bytes. And I have Malwarebytes antirootkit with rootkit damage repairs, do you think that might be worth a shot to run? Also, the trojan was kt_bho.KettleBho , and I peeked in Regedit and I found it, and another entry called kt_bho.KettleBho.1 . After the program deleted the first, the kt_bho.KettleBho.1 was still there. Do you think I should remove it too?
