If it finds any corrupt files then no it doesnt continue, it gives you a list of the files that are missing or corrupt. If none are found to be corrupt or missing the window closes and then the program opens the next window like normal. Nothing else has changed besides checking the files. This is how it has always done it, just before it looked for missing files only, now it checks for corrupt ones.

Does it find any corrupt files? If so post a screen shot for me.

Looks like the new feature is doing its job :-D

Did you download the setup from the site, or are you running the portable, and if you are running the portable did you make sure to extract all the files and not try to run it from the zip file?

Oh and of course what version of Windows?

I just installed the program to test it and it works just fine, on Windows 7 as well. The setup should of replaced the files in the program folder, so the files should be fine unless something messed with them. In the program folder like for the file_list.txt file and post it for me.

The program looks at that to pull the file list and the sha1 of the files, if that file is messed up or didnt get updated then that would explain the problem.

No not that file, I said the file_list.txt file, it is in the in same folder as the program, not under the files folder.

OK good, that file is correct.

Ok so either the program is failing to get the sha1 hash of each file or the files have been modified somehow, causing the sha1 hash to be different.

In the list of files it says failed, scroll to the end of the list, the last file in the file_list.txt is the tray icon, if that is at the bottom of the failed list then that means that the program isnt able to pull the md5 hash of any of the files, if that is the case I need to find out why your system isnt able to pull the sha1 hash. We can also always clear out the file_list.txt file and make it blank so the program wont check any of the files. But lets do that only as a last resort.

You didnt clear the file yet did you? I want to find out why the program isnt pulling the sha1 hash :-)

I am going to make a new test build here soon and get it over to you, in this new build I will have it show the sha1 it is looking for and which one it finds, that way I can see if it is pulling the info or not.

OK I have to head off to my daughters softball game so I wont reply until tomorrow.

I have attached a zip file with 2 files for you, the file_list.txt and a new build of the Windows repair, put both files in the folder you have now and overwrite the old files.

This new build I have changed the box that gives the results to a text box so you can copy and paste the text from it and I have it report the sha1 that it is looking for and the sha1 hash it gets. This way I can tell if it is working properly or not :-)

Post a screen shot of the results or a copy of the log and I will look at it tomorrow.

Make sure you read what I just said twice LOL

The file_list.txt in the zip file isnt blank, so if yours still is then you are not copying the new files over it, try deleting the two old files first then paste the new files in

Well the program is working as it is pulling the sha1 hash of the files, and those files are different then what they should be!

Do me a fav and zip up that whole folder of the program and attach it for me, I want to look at the files myself and see what is different about them.
