VideoStudio X7 Error 38. Files damaged or modified

New release of the VideoStudio software was released, I try to install the program, and everything went fine at first, but when trying to launch the program by double-clicking then get an error message, I looked Google and everyone else have the same problem!? So how do we fix?

This is due to Corel's anti-piracy utility called Protexis Licensing, not running. It must be running in order to launch VS. There are other Corel programs that utilize this same service. So if you see the above error, then before you attempt to reinstall, first go to your Computer Management, Services & Applications, Services. Scroll down and locate Protexis Licensing. Then check to see that it is started and running. If not click Start the service. You should then be able to launch VS.

I dont use corel, at all. SO I dont have a fix or even how to try to fix it, but they do list what it is there.

This is very strange, there are some members have the same problem with older versions but I do not have any problem with the older versions, but I have with the latest versions! I was used the version of VideoStudio X6  with no problems ! But other members have problems with the older version?

I removed the old version yesterday, and then install the new version and got this problem! Can you explain more?

note that was a 30 Trial program version

Did you check that the service they require is running?

I dont use the program so I dont know, possible it is the old version that is installed is keeping certain things from upgrading to newer versions (such as that service)

From what I read on it, it has to do with their anti piracy they have in the new versions.

Alright then i got fixed by formated my computer     now i can run and use both Corel VideoStudio Pro X7 & Corel PaintShop Pro X7 without any problems But here is another problem where I found another Corel Products/site http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/studio/ultimate/ and i try To install the Pinnacle Studio Ultimate program but get a strange problem "Windows Installer Service could not be accessed" error and i run all tool in My previous topic here http://www.tweaking.com/forums/index.php/topic,646.msg4388/topicseen.html#msg4388 but with windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and running all tweaking.com Different tools doesn't help wit windows 7 !
