Long time running
« on: June 19, 2014, 09:58:57 am »
Windows 7 64 bit.  windows repair 2.7.5.

Started just before 11:30 am uk.  Seems to be stuck on repair service permissions.  tried to stop it this afternoon, just gives a message of "Stopping, waiting on current repair to finish".

Been running for nearly 7hrs 20 mins.  Is this normal for 'repair service permissions'?

Can anyone comment?

Thanks.

That's 8 1/2hrs now. Not impressed.  How do I stop this?  Can I stop it without doing damage to my pc?

I can't leave the pc running.

Any help would be appreciated.

The repairs normally never take more than 30 min.

Can you take a screen shot on which repair it is stuck on so I can see where it is at?

If it is a permissions repair you may have a junction point that is causing a infinite loop. if so try the repairs again but skip the one that is stuck.
