start repair screen problem
« on: May 02, 2014, 04:18:47 pm »
Hi all, I just installed the windows repair tool, but having moved onto the start repair screen, the start button is missing. The back button is present but looks like the start has been cropped off(see attachment). Can the console size be changed? I am running win7 pro, 64 on a dell vostro. The specific problem I am trying to repair is, "not able to turn firewall on".
Any help would be appreciated.
Tom.

Ah, you have you DPI settings set really high, I am guessing at 150%.

What happens is Windows makes everything bigger in the program, not just text, and because of that the tab control isnt fitting on the window and the button is being pushed off.

If you lower the API to at least 125% it should fit on there.
