Unmarshalers fix
« on: April 26, 2014, 12:56:49 am »
In the last day or so I have had major annoyances with Windows. It wouldn't shutdown, applications loaded at startup took a very long time to load (and were slow in doing so), and general other annoyances. I'm fairly knowledgeable with computers and Windows, but this issue perplexed me. I was thinking I had to reinstall Windows again, something which I would prefer not to do considering the install is only a few weeks old (a fresh install with update 1).

Searching through the internet I came back across your application. I had seen it a while ago and forgot all about it! I saw what you wrote about the unmarshalers registry key, I had a look and noticed mine was missing! I repaired this and now everything is working as it should! I let the other repair options run through as well, since I know it's generally safe to do so.

It is a bug in Windows that I have found, but I havent found what part of Windows is removing those keys, but at least people now have a way to put them back lol
