UAC problem in Win7 after using Windows Repair (All In One)
« on: October 15, 2013, 02:08:26 am »
I just ran this through on a Windows 7 machine - default settings, except the first one was unticked (reset permissions). After the reboot, I notice that UAC is prompting me for things like Standalone updates, which don't normally prompt on Windows 7. I've checked in Control Panel, and level is set at default levels.

Any ideas ?

Havent seen that problem on any other machines, and none of the repairs touch anything to do with UAC.

I wonder if any of these settings are changed on your system
