« on: September 16, 2013, 10:51:11 am »
Today I got a big problem access your website where I just tried to jump inside your site but it seems like an unknown problem?
So, now I can not access to your site and even to the official board and now before to write my own threads reporting will enter into your site using the HotSpot program.

I havent been able to find any problem on my end with the server or from my home pc to the site, and others have been making posts.

Might be a problem on your ISP side. A lot of times I find problems have to do with DNS. I myself got tired of problems with DNS with my isp and use goolge dns servers instead :-)

Shane  Are you running the latest version of the forum software? Maybe your forum needs a software update?

Why do we get this DNS-problem? What is the reason for this? Note it is the first time that I get the problem on 3 stages with many sites come back to me/With many 2 websites hosts services! 1 for your websites-forum.. da  :artist:

Nothing to do with my forum software.

The internet travels through hops, think of them as roads.

You can do a trace route from your computer to my forums and you will see each hop it hit to get to here. If any of those hops had a problem the last few days then you wouldnt have been able to get to the site while other users who comes in from a different path worked fine.

Nothing I can do when that happens, you just have to wait it out.

More information is good, so I have a stupid modem every time has disconnected the Internet! And as I think that the DNS problem might be from the same modem that I own, so I have a question is whether the modem supports DNS? If so.How do I know?

Any other solutions that help?

DNS is used by every one.

What I do on my system is set a static local IP for my system and I use the google dns servers instead
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

I dont like to use the DNS from my ISp
