Can't print
« on: August 12, 2013, 01:12:53 pm »
Hi,

I have Windows 7 - 64bits with IE 10 and I've got a persistant script error when trying to print... Tweaking.com Repair all can not solve the problem but can you add a tool that could solve that issue?

I have joint the script error message and the script error detail given by windows debugger.

Hope you can help me with my problem ;-)

Thanks,

Looks like the error is related to the print driver
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2652062

Open your printers window and post a screen shot for me so I can see what printers you have installed.

Here you go, it's an HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one.

Thanks,

PS.: I've tried the solution in your link and it didn't works...

Hi, It seems that trouble shooting device may solve your problem. What i mean is , HP has not updated drivers for some of their products and if you install the older drivers , then you get all sorts of errors.  But trouble shooting device, by you will probably get the required drivers from windows updates for this particular product. Go to control Panel, type troubleshooting. click the trouble shooting and select hardware and device, cllick printers, it will look for your drivers and once all the proper drivers installed your problem will be over.
Is this the first time that you have tried your printing job in this OS. you have not mentioned. I had the same problem for my 3900 series and got rid of problem as above.
have you tried this link to download your drivers
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3390949#N175
The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

As a test try removing all the printers, you can install them back later.

Then when they are gone run my windows repair tool and run the fix spooler repair only.

Once done reboot and try IE and the print function again. This time it should just come up as saying no printer installed. Let me know
