Is there a version you can put on a usb, boot from it and have it run repair, for oh say a computer having issues loading drivers for display so black screen but pc is running, or can tweaking be run with some other software that boots pc and then can run tweaking on the system? sorry if this is not the right section to ask in, or if it's been asked before, I'm an aged noob here

The program needs to be run from within Windows but you can create a Hiren's Boot USB which will get you up and running.

Once you are back up you can either download and install Windows Repair or the portable version onto an USB which you can run on any Windows machine.

Yeah, Hirens can do some good stuff, but was really hoping you'd say "Why yes there is a boot-able version of tweaking" dagnabbit,... I seldom really need all the extra on a Hiren's.... how about this, any way to get it to auto-run from USB on a PC that display drivers are corrupted, IOW, it's booted, but cant see to navigate to run Tweaking, I'd settle for that, just stab in the USB and let her rip

It may be worth saving this article for black screen problems -

https://recoverit.wondershare.com/computer-problems/windows-10-black-screen-of-death.html

I needed Hiren's once to get me back in and I didn't need anything else on the disk.

Win 10 has the option of starting and stopping the computer three times in succession which will get you into diagnostic mode to repair/replace the display drivers.
