Scheduled task to boot into safe mode and then run repairs
« on: March 06, 2017, 01:58:19 pm »
Hi - I'm trying to figure out how to schedule a task to not only run my repairs (based on settings.ini), but to do so from safe mode automatically.

I'm sorry, but I just can't figure out how to achieve the safe mode part of it.  I've managed to schedule a task using the -silent switch for All-in-One, and I do see the end of the settings.ini file telling it to boot back out of safe mode, but I can't figure out how to trigger it to, upon the start of the scheduled task, restart into safe mode (and then run the repairs from there).

I've seen some other posts touching on it (something to do with msconfig?), but I just don't know enough to be able to figure it out without someone spoon feeding me the answer.  If anyone could point me to a batch file or script that would achieve this (or some other method), i'd be very appreciative.
