Hi everyone,

I have run Windows repair 3 times already, and I always get my file permissions screwed up after this. Every time I want to save a file or even read some, I get a popup saying I need to run as an admin, so I press  the Continue button. But this is for everything. Even for outlook, I have a PST file with old emails, and it won't read it because of this same issue.

So all 3 times I had to go back the registry backup made before I run the program. The last time I even unchecked the option "Reset file permissions" and it screwed it up anyways.

Any tips?

Thanks!

Can you post the version of Windows you are using and I'll pass this onto Shane - I assume you are running the program in Safe Mode ?

Yes, I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate.-
And yes, I have tried this in safe mode.

Thanks a lot!
