I regularly use EVERYTHING (https://www.voidtools.com/)

You can search one's HD/SSD for things that have these files have in common. E.g. a combination of extension ".mp3" and that contain (the characters) "work". One can sort those files on directory & size. I once deleted some 5000 files that were in total 400 MB in size. It worked much faster than the deleting process in Explorer.

The program found the files on my fixed HD and the USB drive (i have attached from time to time) and puts them all in one list.

3. You delete 1 folder or 1000000 or more different subfolders and how many partitions and how many multiple HDD?

Next time, please check it out and stop writing nonsense that it works fast!

Very small files (1 B .. 1 MB etc.) Slowest copying and deleting
---------------
Small (e.g. MP3), medium and large files (faster copying, and deleting)

I do not use Windows Explorer to find and delete files.
Everything I rarely use because it is very slow scans disks!
I use a different, more rapid file search tool (uses only RAM, Without building base)

Everything
- a good tool for previewing files (Large Thumbnail)
