Because I couldn't install Windows 10 (5 tries), downloaded Windows Repair v3.4.2. Started your program, took advice & hit 'SAFE MODE'.....1) could not log into my admin account as passcode wrong, even though it was same 4 digit pass code been using for two years....used supplemental ID with same passcode, safe mode open; 2) can't make any changes or use most apps, including yours, as User Account Control rejects password....can't really do anything.....3) Can't get out of safe mode & two password recovery programs on USB (burned with old XP computer) didn't work (had to go into BIOS setup to change boot order....to no avail). In sum, no problems before running your software: now can't use admin & am stuck in safe mode.
Have an HP h8-1569PC, running Windows 8.1(64 bit).
Before trying to download Windows 10, backed up all files & non-windows program on a removable HD, but really wished I had made a password rescue disc, but both wife & I share computer & remember 4 digit birthdate of daughter. Use Last Pass so all (other) passwords saved. But can't even do anything without User Account Control password.
Can you help??
