Hi,
I almost had deleted gmail message including enclosures . But whenever , i see the percentage < i usually have 3%) it remains the same. Is this normal? How is this.
Once i tried to store the emails by using google ,,,,,,. But, it also shows me a enclosure in a gmail from google. I deleted that also. But still the percentage remains the same.
                                              Any idea anybody

The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

Because the emails are still in the trash, once the trash is empty you will see the % drop, I think gmail auto removes old trash already.

Not sure without seeing it, but if it is only at 3% used, I wouldnt worry to much about it :-)

Hi, The enclosure to gmails are shown as googles drive storage. So ,i f i delete this would also get deleted. But i will try. I am empyting unwanted gmails with enclosures.
Update:
I have solved this problem. when i click my drive in google it shows 3%. I clicked my drive and found there is takeout folder there.I remembered that i deleted the takeout in the mail. But it has been stored as takeout folder in the drive.
That was it. When trying to save the mail contents, as a separate folder along with the mails, google says it could be done by this takeout and i downloaded and saved. But this could not be opened to see what are the mails saved . I also wrote about this in my previous post for suggestion. I could not decipher what are all inside, and how it is stored. Because variety of items included in gmails.
Somebody suggested firefox thunderbird to download to my pc as a folder. But i could not further proceed and hence deleted the email containing the takeout. but the contents have been copied to google drive. I deleted and my storage size reduced to 1%. This i have written for users of those who may have an idea of storage problem in gmail.
