Create a new user account and log into that account and see if it has the same problem as well.

Hi, i very much doubt that your programs are infected and the exe files are corrupt. You could try microsoft windows exe fix to fix those problem. But, the virus attack seems severe in your case. Pl refer the link and then run it. Please go to this link, download EXE from it and then run it. If it fix your problem, it means that the application would be able to run
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/file-asso-fixes-for-windows-7/
and see this post,
http://wintegrity.blogspot.in/2014/11/how-to-fix-sound-not-working-in-windows.html
in which all in one repair tool had a mention in the solution paragraph

The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

If you cant create an account then my technicians toolbox will be able to let you create one :-D

I am getting ready to release the final version of it very very soon, hopefully this week.

Till then, the beta was set to only run till Feb 1st. Which it is now past, so set your clock on your system back to Jan 31st and you should be able to run it, that or wait till I release the final version.

In the program you will see the Windows User manager I built, you can use that to create a new local account.

Hi, The update from app store may not only solve his problem, but all win 8 users problem. Real wonder that you included in the All in one repair.
May be an update, but did you see the problem of the same nature was cured by using All in one and minor correction in regedit, in the link i provided in my post?
aLL IN one tool would be a boon for win 8.
Is the trial advised by you have been incorporated in All in one.
Will the tool, the updated tool by you in this post, also help win 7 and other users. I have run the trial first and found no missing files. But i have not tried the updated , which you have promised to release in the latest version of AIO. I will update to the latest.
