Item 29. Repair Windows 8 Component Store - never ending ...
« on: January 15, 2015, 07:21:18 am »
4 hours 32 minutes and still going. I see from other posts that this command can take hours and hours. Is there some test that can be performed to indicate if it's going to take forever? or even left out of the list, and added as something that might be done If It Really Needs It.

This system was running before I started this - but now I'm beginning to wonder if it will be running at the end of it?

The repair is running the MS tool dism, open task manager and see if DismHost.exe or dism.exe or trustedinstaller is running are using cpu at all.

MS didnt have the tool give any way to give back a progress or what i is doing. Which really sucks lol
