Hi,
Today, when i opened the desktop folder , i find the control panel icon shown in the middle of the desktop. the Other things mentioned above are not shown in the desktop, but present in the Desktop folder. I have not copied those folders or shortcut to my desktop. It does exist, without any bytes shown or date in the windows explorer viewing. Is it normat? I only find user defined shortcuts, program shortcut and Recycle bin to be found in the desktop. How come Computer, control panel found place in there?. I clicked the control panel icon and it opens control panel.
                      Shane what it is?

The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

OK, lets make sure that they simply are not positioned off the screen, right click on the desktop and in the menu go to sort by and choose name, it should order all of the icons, see how that does.

My Question is that I have not created the desktop icons for those. Normally these icons  or folders does not show in desktop folder. How did it come there? Is there any thing unusual. Can i delete. These folders do not show anything, but only option  Delete

Right click on the desktop and go to the bottom and click on personalize, then on the left hand side click change desktop icons, you will see a check box for each of those.
