Yes, if you ever want to save your settings just save the settings.ini file in the program folder. Then when you unzip the new one, since unzipping overwrites all of them, then you just copy the settings.ini file back. In each of my programs I keep all the settings in that ini file so people can run them off of thumbs drives and such and not have the settings in the registry of that computer.
So by using a ini file instead it allows my programs to be portable.
