Hi,     SMPS IS connected to computer for channeling the power supply . Is there any monitoring tool available for check an error in this other than hardware repair or replacement, through a software. Sorry if this question is silly
The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

Hi,   Seen the reply , but laptap battery power etc could be monitored by some softwares. Why not a solution could be attempted in this regard. Because, every time if there is a problem in SMPS, then you have only the choice of replacing.(hardware solution only) By the by , what karma denotes in everyone's post.

Laptop battery has a hardware interface that software can communicate with. You can make software just work with anything, you have to have a way for it to read and work with it. From the serches I did on SMPS they offer no type of communication like that for it.

As for the karma in the forum here that is just a way for users to vote if someone is helpful or friendly and such or not :-)

hi, A good reply at that. But SMPS cost much nowadays and replacing without even knowing that it has real damage or not is a real concern. I will try to surf and inform if anything is there. Thank you for your reply.
