So I need some help regarding a business computer of mine. We were having issues with the PC running slow and not allowing permissions with one of our POS applications so we contacted Microsoft. They remotely came into my PC and downloaded The Windows Repair Tool from tweaking.com. Everything was fine but the process stopped during the 17th repair and the time elapsed has not moved from 1 hr 21mins (although almost 3 hours have passed since then- making it a total of over 4 hours) and nothing has happened. I also read that this is supposed to run in Safe Mode- but the Microsoft technician did NOT run this program in Safe Mode... What will happen to my computer if i stop the tweaking process and what are the repercussions of not running this in Safe Mode?
Someone please help me ASAP- this has become a huge problem for my business.
