How can I remove the tray icon. Does this slow down start up on the computer?

- The Tray Icon Program uses only little resources.
- Open the "Settings" tab in Window Repair. There you can tell the program whether or not to show Tray Icon (Program). Or use CCleaner to delete that program from Task Scheduler.

I looked at the "setings" tab which confirms what you said. My main reason far asking how to remove the tray Icon is that it sometimes slows shutdown on my computer and I have to force shutdown.

- Odd. Very odd. Never had any problems with it. Are you sure it isn't some other program that's responsible for that delay ? I know that sometimes a program needs to write A LOT OF data to disk before it can close itself. Mozilla's Thunderbird is such an example when one has A LOT OF emails.

Well it's just sometimes it shows the icon when I'm shutting down and I have the option to cancel or force the shutdown. It doesn't do it every time I shutdown so it's random. My OS is Win 7 SP1
