fix wi-fi after a standby

hi guys. i have a little problem, nothing serious. but is annoying

sometimes my windows 7,10 (all pc have the same problem) after that pc went on standby i had problem to connect on wi-fi.
so every time i must go on troubleshoot problems and automatically it resolves the problem with the reset of wifi settings.

I don't understand what/who modifies these values and why after a standby??

I had this problem from when we bought the new router, but i can't believe that because i can resolve the problem simply with one click.

isn't very important so if we can't resolve doesn't matter, but i only want to know the reasons

There's a couple of things you can do for this.

Go into Device Manager - expand Network adapters - right click on the Wireless adapter and select Properties.

Under the Power Management tab uncheck the box to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power - OK

There's also a router setting and its location can vary from router to router.

This setting is for the Connection Mode which has a Time Out.

The default is either to turn off after 30 mins of inactivity or set to On Demand.

If the only setting is the 30 mins then change that to 0 and if the setting is On Demand then change that to Always On.

If it has both, then selecting Always On will override the minutes setting.
