Problem fixing Reparse points
« on: September 14, 2015, 06:33:19 pm »
I keep getting an error that the link does not exist, so I click repair, then I scan again and the same problem shows up, do I need to disable my Avast internet security?, I have run chkdsk /r and /f from bootup but still no luck. I have attached the pre scan log. How can I fix this problem, the link to my  HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy10 seems to be a systax error in itself.

I'm using Windows 10, I wish I hadn't upgraded now because with Windows 7 I never had a problem I couldn't fix myself.

That one you can ignore. That isnt a default junction point and that is simply pointing to a volume shadow copy.

So you are fine. My program doesnt normally see the volume shadow copies as my program just loops through the files and folders on the drive. Normally those shadow copies cant be seen that way. For some reason this one could. I will update the program to skip those as they are not part of the normal scan.

First time I have seen this one lol
