Boot Failure after "repair" Win7
« on: August 27, 2015, 04:22:35 am »
Notebook unable to start Win7 or Recovery after long "repair" with AllInOne, almost all check boxes were checked, except Win8.

Windows Boot Manager: status 0x000000e, info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

If I start recovery from CD, I have access to hard disk, and can see OS Windows, but unable to recovery due to "other version OS". CD is the same. Hard disk is available under Ubuntu.

Could you advise me something?

None of the repairs would have caused that, that error means that it cant read the boot partition on the drive, it is the 100 mb partition that is on the drive where the boot files sit.

That partition is normally hidden and doesn't have a drive letter to it. So from the sounds of it you just need to repair the boot, you can use the bootrec to do that
