win updates doubled

Windows updates finished and looked strange like the guest acccount. I lost my documents but have them on removable media. I used tweak reg backup to do it again properly, or go back to before the updates occured. However, the updates were still there and windows insisted on installing them again no matter how many times I rebooted, scanned updates etc.
I know have duplicates = 32 instead of 16 updates and all say successful.
What should I  do if anything.

Let them install again. It should update and fix itself at that point

I let them reinstall but still ended up with 32.

I performed an Acronis and have not allowed them to download although it is prompting me.

Shane, I have a greated problem which has to do with admin rights, I think.
When I insert my flash drive with a folder called "criticl notes"( my data) in my account which is password protected it seems ok BUT when I go to the guest account they are visible to guests too which is bad.
I have tried logging off and swithing users to no avail. When I delete that folder from the guest account, it disappears from my admin acc't too.
In summary that impportant folder either exists in both admin and guest or it is deleted from both.
How do I get it to exist only in the admin and not the guest?
My laptop is not like that where the folder is only visible to admin and not guest. Turning guest off is not the answer as my guests will nothave a chance to use the pc.

I am not sure what is going on with the updates.

Try my windows updates repair tool, reboot and then have it download any updates it has and see if it works after that
