Simple System Tweaker

The "Tweaking Tool" bricked my Google Chrome installation!

Simple system tweaker doesnt touch anything with google chrome. They are all just windows registry settings, nothing more. :wink:

What is happening with google chrome?

Follow up, only occurred after running "Simple System" and reboot. Subsequently found that although Chrome would not run in "normal" mode, it would run if right clicked and selected "run as administrator". Seems as though "permissions" were changed? I turn off system in the evening, when rebooted system this A.M., back to normal. Probably just a coincidence? TKS for the post. We find the "all in one" to be a valuable tool.

Hard to say, chrome doesnt normally ask for admin permissions. Possible it was just a hickup in Windows itself and a reboot was all that was needed :wink:
