ISSUE NUMBER ONE: SYSTEM BOOT FAILURE;

I am an old man, so some words typed in BOLD for my convenience.

HERES WHAT;

OK, Hypothetically? LETS MOVE THE BAD SYSTEM to another system that works on a USB DRIVE, "BUT LETS CREATE some commands that only run the REGEDIT as follows on the bad boot drive;

"CD\ windows bad system", then only run the registry in the bad system failure, or perhaps create another version of REGEDIT that will only OPEN THE BAD BOOT SYSTEM registry in the BAD SYSTEM,

THEN; WE COULD ACTUALLY RESTORE AN OLD WORKING REGISTRY!!!!!!!!!

this program would Before shutdown, RUN SFC / from the good boot drive to fix any files in the BAD BOOT DRIVE. Perform a CHKDSK

Then, move the drive back to the system.

Of course, we would need to be sure that we had the original install disk to be sure were even doing this work on the right system.

Already ran Avast, MBAM to check for malware...

for EMSISOFT, it found some things; but its program fault is not mobing them immediately to the quaratine folder like microsofts scanner does, MSFT snanner does not find them, no need continue on that subject. hence when my system crashed during scanning, had to do over again.. this is quite a BIG WASTE OF TIME guys... especiallay when I was checking other hard drives, it ran all night too and manually had to reboot and start over... but what the point if it no MOVE THE FOUND THINGS?

I did an old registry backup but can not use the old registry as there are too many conflicts... besides, these are only windows issues and just Right for your programming qualities

Actually my repair tool doesn't touch Windows activation. What is happening is the type of activation crack they are using is adding Microsoft activation servers to the host file so Windows cant talk to them. Since the repair host file repair int he program puts the host file back to default then Windows talks to the activation server and they get the error. Users who use a different kind of crack that doesn't use the host file doesn't have this problem.

Again my repair tool doesn't touch activation

As for a lot of the problems you are having have you tried to create a new user profile, just to test, and see if the problem is still there? That would tell me if the problem is in the hkey local machine section or the hkey current user sections

Yes, A new user ID has the same problem.

Actually looking over what the problems where I realize they are not reg keys but they are missing files on the system.

First; where can I get the advanced sfc check commands; then I can at least run that on the desktop.

It seems I made some early mistakes; I am using a dual boot system...

(Registries restore options; if I have other REG backup files; can I use your service to restore them?) At least that will bring me back to a working state too. Call it the last chance saloon or whatever!

I only backed up one system, the C:\ “When it was D:\ that was important””:(“
Does your program detect how many operating systems? “Does it?” (Can you change your program to detect operating systems to back up for dummies like me? "And add the do it")
What if your system identified which boot system was the first entry? “Does it?”, then this would totally solve that issue seems!

Note, when I ran the (dos_command), it didn't really work... I later found and noted that the BCD file was corrupt too and then I tried to restore using the BOOTREC from the install CD “but Failed”
Therefore, does your system copy the BCD files too! (Very important), I need restore them too along with the backup FILES for some reason.

Note: I found an old archive of the SAM files, reloaded them but now have other boot issues to solve! Tried doing the BOOTREC things, “still no luck at this point”

Note: Am running a program called Anti Avira Rescue System now; would you have a look and see if it is useful as a tool for corrupt startup repairs
Can do a Google to find the link for Avira AntiVir Rescue System: it checks the current registry entries from a boot environment; I find that useful when your system will not boot or when you repair the SAM files and it still will not saying the Registry is corrupt. (Having a clean boot and registry file is very important) I find the idea of using this tool useful to run before tweaking, how about you?

Note: It seems, people should run this Avira AntiVir Rescue System type of program like SFC and CHKDSK too before backing up there registries with tweaking.

There is another program called http://neosmart.net/ to help people restore the boot systems, I am not that desperate yet.
Frankly Speaking, any install disk performs the same tasks, "AUTOMATICALLY plus it will fix some things too, without me having to do anything"

Therefore, spending the HOURS it takes to make their program work, IT IS NOT HELPFUL in this scenario!
It is however usful for advanced technicians to help boot into unbootable systems with no install disk to look inside computer systems I give it a good rating for technicians and a poor rating for peope like me!

I like your tweaking programs… your on target!

Whether you have corruption to the bootmgr file or it is missing, the following should help to resolve it.
1. Boot from the Windows DVD and run the Startup Repair several times.

2. If the above doesn't cure the problem, go back to the Repair Option and this time choose Command Prompt, then type these 4 commands (in all instances the capitals are for clarity only):
BOOTREC /FIXMBR and press Enter
BOOTREC /FIXBOOT and press Enter.
BOOTREC /SCANOS and press Enter.
BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD and press Enter.
3. If it’s still not successful or you receive ‘No operating system found’ or ‘Element not found’ messages, go back to the Command Prompt and make the partition active by typing these commands:
DISKPART and press Enter.

SELECT DISK N and press Enter (N represents the disk you want).
LIST PARTITION and press Enter.
SELECT PARTITION N and press Enter (N represents the partition you want).
ACTIVE and press Enter.

Even after making the partition active, you may need to rerun 1 above and perhaps 2 as well.

Right now the program only grabs the registry files on the system. It doesnt grab the boot manager. I have to see what is involved in backing it up first. I know erunt simply grabs the reg file for the BCD but there are files with it as well.

The program doesnt support dual boots. It does this by making a file in the Windows folder as an identifier.

So in this case on my system
Windows\tweaking.com-regbackup-SMC-Microsoft-Windows-7-Ultimate-(64-bit).dat

The file name is the computer name plus the version of Windows it is.

So when you run the dos restore it looks for that file so it knows which drive to restore the registry to

(((I read that we can copy the SAM setup file, although it only 64, we should be at least able to boot into windows)))

Well, heres another thought;

Your program backed up what it found, that true, so lets try and guess it out a little further. shall we?

Copy the backup "REGBACK" folder to a USB, Insert and run the Install disk

Get to the Command prompt from the Install Disk;

Find the USB, just keep typing e: f: G: till it finds the usb drive

Open the folder with the dos_restore.com on the USB drive and hit enter

or if that fails;

do an XCOPY *.* to C:\

(please edit for corrections)

This method does not solve the screen issue

Another major URGENT Problem with Windows;

System Failure = Hard Drive Failure"

Trying to use Minitool or any drive copy with DIRTY FLAGS marked on the disks does not enable the drive to be copied.

lets assume, it's dirty, so what, we can copy and do chkdsk again on the new hard drive right? I need some help to resolve what this guys was reffering at this link posted in order to do just that. Remove the dirty flag to enable partition copying...

That link you sent means to open a terminal window and run the command there. But you can also try my 7-zip trick as well that I answered in your other post.
