I think I figured it out. SYSTEM had no permissions. I?m fixing the root of C:\ properly and then will run the repair. Hopefully that?ll get it.

I?m working on a neighbor?s laptop that had all permissions to C:\ drive removed. I was able to change the owner to get some functionality back but obviously that?s no good long term. I?m trying to avoid reimaging it and I ran across a Reddit post where someone mentioned this software. I?m definitely a fan and will be purchasing.

When I run on this laptop, it?s saying that something is keeping the repair from running. I am in safe mode but it still won?t run, which is what brings me here.

What else should I check so I can get these permissions fixed properly?
