If you uncheck the top box in the repair program, that will clear all boxes and then just check the first four repairs but create a restore point first don't use the program's built in option as that doesn't always physically create a restore point.

I followed your instructions and just checked the first four repairs and everything back to normal.

The program should reset the Permissions but do you have a restore point back to before you changed ownership ?

No
Windows restore was disabled.

Hi

I messed up my windows 10 pro by changing owner of drive c. How to restore drive c to Trustedinstaller In tweaking.com Windows Repair 2018 Pro I'm hesitated to try Trustedinstaller (Owner/Permissions) option or is there any other way to restore windows ownership.
