Under Windows 10 Home Version 1703 Build 15063.332 I am receiving an error message when running Registry Compressor.
This is the first time I have run ths program, and I am running it under "Administrative" provileges assigned to the shortcut
on the desktop.
It analyzes OK, but when I click on "Compress" I receive eror messages such as:
"C:\WINDOWS\System32\Config\default.new 5: Access is denied"
It also applies to the files: "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Config\sam.new"
"C:\WINDOWS\System32\Config\security.new"
"C:\WINDOWS\System32\Config\software.new"
and "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Config\sustem.new"
At the end of these error messages, the system then prompts for a reboot with an option to
accept or not accept that action.
Is there a way around this problem?
