I tried to boot in Win7 Safe mode and run this tweaking tool.The same. It will stuck at 57% or 71% at first, then I click the mouse on the pop-up screen, it will change to 76% and stuck over 40 min.

I noticed one post on Microsoft social technet

Something blocked by the permission of the key below
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList

I checked tweaking repair network function doesn't change that key (Using ProcMon)
But from my side it can fix it. So I'm very curious what do the tweaking tool do after trigger the "Repair Network" function.

Please advise. Thank you!

I'm interested in the "Repair Network" function of the tweaking tool. In the Repair Info for "Repair Network" it seems no more details there.

Can I know what will it do? Thank you!

Every time I opened the tweaking tool. It will be stuck when 71% loading \Files\Policy_cleanup.txt.
When I single click the mouse, it will be to 76% loading Windows Variables  (Average waiting time around 40 min). After 40 min. it can be open

I tried several Win7 SP1 machines. All of them have the same symptom

My OS: Win7 SP1

Tried tweaking tool version:
