General Computer Support / I OR THE CENTURY LINK TEAM ARE UNABLE TO FIX MY VERSION OF WINDOWS 8 ENTERPRISE

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX OR FIND A SOLUTION TO MY VERSION OF WINDOWS 8 ENTERPRISE. ALL I WANTED WAS TO UPDATE TO THE NEWER VERSION OF WINDOWS, WHICH IS 8.1 OF COURSE. IT DOES NOT SHOW IN THE STORE THE FREE UPDATE SO IVE BEEN THROUGH HELL AND BACK TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I AM SO FRUSTRATED I HAVE EVEN TRIED TO DO A FACTORY RESET ON MY GATEWAY LT2802U BUT IT REFUSES TO ALLOW ME ANY REFRESH, RESTORE, OR UPDATE OPTIONS. IT WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL THE UPDATE TO THE STORE WHERE I COULD UPDATE TO WINDOWS 8.1. IT DOES NOT SAVE WINDOWS UPDATES EVEN AFTER MANUALLY HAVING TO INSTALL THEM, AFTER A FEW DAYS SAYS THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BACKUP OR CHECK FOR WINDOWS UPDATES. I HAVE CONNECTED TO CENTURY LINKS REMOTE AGENTS NEARLY 10 TIMES IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING MORE THAN I CAN DO MYSELF WHICH IS A BASIC CLEANUP OF PC. IDK. I WISH I COULD AFFORD TO CHOP UP THIS LAPTOP AND FEED IT TO THE BONFIRE ...UGHH.... ITS A SHAME TO HAVE BEEN GIVEN THIS LAPTOP IN NOVEMBER AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT AND HAVE BASICALLY NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE IT. 98% OF MY TIME IS RESEARCHING A SOLUTION TO THIS VERY AGGREVATING STUPID WINDOWS UPDATE!!!
