Tweaking.com Support & Help / Using scan tool

When I use the scan disc tool in your great software it tells me that "Windows Resource Protection could not perform requested operation". I am running your programme to try to solve the issue of windows update failing to work with non stop error message. #80073712.  I have done every tweak suggested by microsoft too but to no avail. Have also downloaded the special software microsoft software, stanalone updater pc doctor etc  to sort the update problem but it cannot mend the update error and have not been able to download updates for 2 months now. Will I have to re install windows?
Can some nice kind soul help me please?
