Sounds like you have multiple problems.

First thing I want you to do is a check on the hard drive.

Run chkdsk on the system and have it fix any errors.

Next thing I want you to do is to do a system file check.

Open a cmd window and put in sfc /scannow

Reboot when it is done.

If this doesnt help then I want you to run my Windows Repair program and have it run all the repairs. Make sure to have it do a backup first. Reboot and then see if Windows updates will work. If it does make sure to get all the updates

OK that looks like it is just the Microsoft driver your using and not one from the manufacture.

So lets find out which driver you need and get you some better drivers :-)

Is your computer a store bought machine? If so what make and model is it?

Shane
Yes. its a Vaio one
VPCEA12EG
unfortunately the drivers of this version there isnt in the support. vaio web
-=============
some of drivers of this mode ((VPCCW17FX)) are used for ALL model of vaio

Right click on Computer, left click on manage.

When it opens go to the device manager.

In there expand the Display Adapters.

You will see your video, double click on it. Then go to the driver tab and get me a screen shot

Shane
Ok.

What video card is in the system and what version drivers does it have?

You can get that info from the device manager.

You only need 64bit java if you use a 64 bit browser, so dont worry about that.

The fact that things are installing and this math program isnt makes me think it is something with the program installer that they are using.

I found this, have you tried any of these yet?
http://www.mathworks.com/support/tech-notes/1300/1311.html

As you can see in section 1 on that page they have a lot of crashes, but thankfully solutions for them :-)

Shane

Dear shane:
I went to your link. I found an error like mine. there was three solutions for that. two of them(1,3) was not for me. For the second (Disable hardware acceleration of your graphics device) guide me please . it is not active for me( my graphic doesnt support). AND SO THE PROBLEM IS indefeasible   NOW.
the following link is like mine:

Do you have trouble installing anything else?

Also I noticed in the last screen shot that the icon of the installer is a java icon.

What version of java do you have installed? (You can find out by going to add remove programs and you will see java listed there)

Shane
yes with maple 13-14-15 i had this problem but maple 12 instaleed correctly.
my java was 6. but  i removed it some days a go ( to istall it again and i have no java now). with java i have the same problem
