An iso is a image file of the disk. You cant shrink it like that.

You have to extract the files off the iso, edit them to make them smaller (You will need video editing software for that) and once small enough you can put it back to a disk or iso format.

Thats for DVD's, you didn't say it was a dvd movie you said it had video files on it.

Even dvd shrink encodes the movie to a smaller format. There is no compression. You cant compress a cd or dvd.

Hello hi, Shane,  It is a iso image containing some flv files, produced by using imgburner. the iso image size is more than 8 g b. So, i tried to compress using winrar, by selecting  a dvd size. It has created 2 rar file, by splitting according to choice. Since these two files could not be stored in  a disc. i come across that webpage. Next , i tried thro dvd shrink, which is showing error , when i try to open the source iso file. It gives error messages, like no videots file found. Is there any software that could compress the files to the dvd normal disc so that i could store the total file in one disc.

No, like I said you cant compress dvd's. And dvd shrink is for dvd movie formats, not flv.

You are going to have to remake the isos and make 2 dvds instead of 1.

A dual layer dvd can hold 8.5 GB

You simply have to much on there you are going to have to remove some things. If you ever buy a blue ray burner a blue ray disc can hold 25gb.
