Hello,
Can we do without the preliminaries, click directly on REPAIR-MAIN to perform the PC repair, I am under Windows 8.1, I thank you cordially.
-
If there's a problem with the HDD such as bad sectors then there's no point in running the repairs, that is why a chkdsk /f or /r is advised.
While a sfc /scannow will check the system files, it doesn't check everything but these need to be in order before proceeding with the repairs.
Why do you need to run the repair program ?

Hello and thank you for answering me
I am French and I use google translation to converse, I asked you this question because I wanted to save time for the repair, and of course if it was possible to do this manipulation cordially.
-
You can still go a head and do the repairs without the pre steps, but if there's anything wrong with the HDD then the repairs could hang.
Don't bother using the create a restore point option because for the main, it doesn't physically create a restore point, but the auto Registry Backup does.
That is still under investigation.
You can of course create your own manual restore point before proceeding with the repairs, but I prefer to create a system image onto external media.

Thank you Boggin for your answers clear and fast, I now know what to hear and I will follow your advice. Good evening cordially

A good evening to you too, but you haven't said why you need to run the repair program, or was it just a general enquiry ?
-
No, it was to know, in case I should use it cordially
