New updates from Intel causing display to revert back to VGA only;
Dear INTEL, MSFT; Please Stop the sabotaging of our systems we already paid for;
No further notice will be issued; only ACTION!

Can't help with this other than to roll back the driver - the forum isn't a soapbox.
Take it up with Intel !

Interesting comment there Boggin when so many people turn to this site for help...
Computers require two things to work;
HARDWARE
SOFTWARE
If we have determined its not the hardware, then its the software right?
Therefore going; One would be wise to keep a database of Intel drivers that worked with their system and not use the Intel update service any longer till Intel stops wasting our lives!

If a driver update causes problems then you roll back.
You can reinstall a driver from the Store on the computer by going into Device Manager/View/Show hidden devices and expand whichever adapter section you want to change the driver on.
Right click on the adapter - select Update Driver Software - Browse my computer - Let me pick.
On some of them you may have to scroll down the list and click on the section you need where you will see a choice of drivers.
Click on the one you want and then on Next, but if you have any gripes about a given driver, then don't install it.
You really only need to update drivers when the current one is buggy, but you can reinstall it by the method I've just described.
