Title: Hardware changes may not have been detected nightmare
Post by: herb on February 22, 2017, 09:48:17 pm
I am running Win 7 SP1 64 bit and no matter how many times i check and run the troubleshooting for Hardware related problems i ALWAYS receive the "hardware issues may not have been detected" message and it NEVER goes away .

I have not changed anything and even removed and installed numerous drivers in device manager to no avail.  Sfc/scannow and chkdsk come back with no issues.

The detection details just show CHRIS PC and 6.1 and AMD 64 underneath that .

Any ideas , thank you.

That's its standard response when there's nothing wrong - I get it as well.

What problems are you having or are you just working your way through troubleshooting ?

Thanks so much Boggin, to be honest i don't notice any issues i just thought something must be wrong since that message never clears itself .  I thought maybe re setting the CMOS battery would take care of it but i don't know for sure.

I was hoping to get a message from it saying "troubleshooting has completed no issues or problems found" but all i get is "hardware may not have been detected' messages lol.

Whats really baffling is even after i have done a clean install before installing any drivers it says "hardware may not have been detected .

Thanks as always for your excellent assistance
