Hello, started the tweaking.com program 15 hours ago. It's stuck on repair job 2, using 1.5% CPU Usage. It normally used 100%.
-
BTW this problem is on Windows 7. I'll try to send a screenshot
-
I'm not very familiar with Tweaking's Windows Repair but the notes onscreen in your images would suggest that it's stalled if your CPU% is that low.
Can you check to see whether it's waiting for user input? Like the Y/N? prompt that Is showing?
-
Thanks, I typed "Y" & it finished running normally.
I certainly appreciate your lightning fast response. I don't believe I've ever had better tech service. You're definitely 5 star!

No worries, friend, most online volunteers help out just because they enjoy doing it - but we all appreciate comments such as yours.
Thank you :)

Well, you ROCK!
:cheesy:

Stop it, report back on whether Windows Repair fixed your problem or not ;)

- Windows Repair (WR) uses - for A LOT OF repairs - a batch file (*.bat) to run a number of MSDOS commands. If you somehow interrupt the execution of that batch file (e.g. by pressing Ctlr-C) then the batchfile will respond this way. So, the next time you run WR avoid touching your keyboard.
- Recommendation: To avoid nasty consequences, rerun the repair(s).

I ran tweaking.com again with excellent results. Thanks.

I couldn't see that Y/N prompt in your pics, but once the repairs are started, there's normally no further user input required.

Thanks for the follow-up. I've used Tweaking. Com four years & this is the first issue I ever had with it. Glad it was so minor. That's why I was confused & needed help. It's working fine now.

Okay - Shane's going to start work on the long awaited v4.0 as time permits.
-
Great! What will be the changes in v4.0?
-
Haven't a clue :) - but hopefully he will have been able to resolve the issues that have arisen since the August Update in Win 10.
