Why would MSFT allow it to be disabled in the first place; why can we not have the restore points saved after we created them and simply right click on them like other programs to restore systems?
Why does SFC not repair some files? it should override those system errors and update itself;
Dear MSFT; please fix your software...

The forum isn't a soapbox to rant against MS.
Some more details would help and losing restore points is an age old problem with Win 7, but you haven't said which version of Windows you are using.
Are you saying that sfc /scannow has reported that it is unable to repair some files or just complaining that sfc cannot repair all files in general.
Have you run the Windows Repair program ?

here is an idea;
If errors are found, why not reported?

Rick - I'm not a mind reader or have I a crystal ball - so haven't a clue what you are going on about.
You have posted in the Computer Help section - do you have a computer problem that you want help with or are you just having a rant at MS ?
If you don't have a computer problem that you need help with, then put your thoughts in a thread in the Letter Avalanche section or I'll either move or remove them and give you a warning about such future conduct.

No, I've never experienced loss of restore points, but word your opening post with the details of your problem and which OS version you are using and not as a what reads like a rant about MS.
