hi,
While i understand the ads pop in this site, this ad is menacingly occupies and alerting you to book, something, and not showing the usual view, when one comes to the post.
Please see, and take necessary action at your end.
This lufthansa ad is occupying the full page, and if you go to the top or bottom, you cannot see anything othr than this adhttp://www.tweaking.com/forums/Smileys/smillhey/angry.png

Those are google ads, i dont have control over them. From the looks of it it was a bad ad.

Hi, it not only occupies those places. It is spreading to entire screen. Should not google have the courtesy of enabling advertisement, to take the place it is assigned.
Shane, thank you for information.
i normally use popup blocker, but it seems that they are also trying to inject some thing thro the back door.

I have Adblock Plus installed in IE and uBlock Origin in Firefox which cuts a lot of adverts out - do you have anything like that installed ?
-
Occasionally installed spybot, (to kill one trojan) reported that ublock origin has some link with snap.do, which may be a news to you. So, i uninstalled ublock origin.
I will hear from you, boggins about this
-
Well I've ran AdwCleaner and Junkware Removal Tool a couple of times since installing uBlock origin and they haven't snagged anything.
Can you post a link for info on that association ?
-
I mean spybot, i have downloaded this and it scanned and alerted like.I also removed the spybot, as i could not uninstall, as it is not shown in program features, or revo uninstaller main page. Side by side, i was alerted with windows defender, finding a risk trojan , and asked me to remove. Inspite of my repeated action, the alert came on and on. I tried system restore and could only do in safe mode. Spybot gives that it redirects to snap.do, a potential risky site.

Then run AdwCleaner followed by Junware Removal Tool - you may have picked up that infection elsewhere.
When you've run those, run this MS Fix it to reset the Hosts File - https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/972034
Scroll down to the Win 7 section and hit the Download button.

I am not having that problem now. anyhow thank for advice.
There are advertisement in this site, that just remains there. But this advertisement menacingly took all the screen, by itself, when you even not move your cursor, it just occupies, and it was the screen shot of that advertisement. But actually, it took my total screen , and i could not even close any thing. Funny, that this extends to cover even top and bottom , so nothing but escape saved me from booting.
