Title: Awesome new virus javaws

additionally, can not uninstall java 8 update from program and features menu

I deleted all references from the registry to retake system control...
but that java 8 update still their

The Java updater could be in the Startup menu/Services of msconfig as after updating Java I go into there and uncheck it.

It seems to have run amok on your machine.

I find someone on another forum keeps me informed of any Adobe or Java updates  :cheesy:

Maybe time to cut the cord? I have lived without Java for a good while now, Flash will soon be heading the same way  :wink:

Go to view and select columns and put a check on image path and command line. This will allow you to see the file path where the exe is at and also the command line used to launch it. That will give some info of what is going on :-)
