Title: Windows Programs no longer work

I started up my computer and tried to access Windows Programs(Internet Explorer,Excel,Word etc) but they will not open.Any Ideas as to what download I should use on here to fix the issue?

While you haven't said which version of Windows you are using, does anything work when you boot up into Safe Mode with Networking ?

Need more info first :-)

What version of Windows and service pack installed? Do any other programs work and only the ms one fails or does everything fail. And as boggin asked, how does it do in safe mode?

Hi,
                    I think that your system is infected with a recent virus that hacks all exes not to work. System restore may help, Try. I heard that this virus does not allow any av, malware bytes and exes to work. Did you download anything from suspicious sites? What is the error message that it shows when you try to open those. Provide these details
